With laptops and computers becoming a part and parcel of our lives we can’t think of a day bereft of it. We often run into several types of issues which can make your life miserable. Set the boot device

Firstly, you need to make sure your CD drive is set to the boot device.  If you do not have an existing operating system installed your PC should understand this and then choose the available boot service.

Inserting the Windows Disk

Insert the Windows disk in your CD/ DVD drive and your PC should ask after the operator logo appears. Simply press any key and windows will start to load files to your PC while displaying the loader bar.

Regional Options

The setup will ask you to select your important regional settings. Make your selections prudently.

License Terms

A license term box will appear which you need to read carefully. If you agree by them then tick the AGREE column followed by clicking NEXT to continue further.

Installation of Windows

The next prompt which appears asks what sort of partition you wish to install windows to. Most users installing a new copy of windows there will only be one partition available which would say something like unlocated space. Select where you wish to install your operating system followed by clicking Next BUTTON.

With windows installation you would be able to choose whether you would like to backup the old operating system for future use which is very handy if you possess a lot of data on there.
